About Me
Bożena Franieczek has always sought out beauty in everyday life during her many travels to scenic places as well as in the unsuspecting spaces whose beauty reveals itself only after perceptive observation.
She brings us fresh interpretations of familiar scenes of beauty, many of which may seem inaccessible in the technologically oversaturated reality of the twenty-first century, through the prism of her personal perceptions and interpretations.
Bożena began her artistic pursuits soon after finishing her studies at Wroclaw Medical University. Since then, she has endlessly and enthusiastically pursued her growth as an artist. She also graduated with a Diploma with Honours in Art Disciplines in Architecture with a specialisation in painting from the Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts. In her artistic endeavours, she has worked in Prof. Leszek Mickos’s atelier and as an apprentice of
Prof. Anna Maria Kramm.
With regards to subject matter, she is an experimental artist and she enjoys working with a variety of artistic mediums. Her work varies in format, from intriguing miniatures to ambitious large-scale pieces.
Bożena enjoys incorporating elements of sculpture into her work, often adding touches of ceramic and glass to her canvases. Although she paints with many bright and exciting hues, she often gravitates towards aesthetically pleasing and serene monochromes.
The artist’s works can be found in Vivid Art Gallery – Wrocław, YAM Gallery -Zakopane,
